UP: Hundreds of cars submerged as River Hindon swells in Noida’s Ecotech area

Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in Noida’s Echotech area due to a rise in the water level of the Hindon River on July 25. The vehicles were seen almost submerged in the water making it ‘Water Parking’. Several houses were also submerged in the low-lying areas on July 23. Light to moderate rains were witnessed in parts of the NCR, including Noida, in the early hours of July 25. Amidst heavy rainfall in parts of the country, the IMD has issued alerts for Maharashtra, Haryana, Chandigarh, UP, Rajasthan, HP, and Uttarakhand.
