J&K: Indian Army takes initiative to clean up Dal Lake on World Environment Day

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Indian Army in collaboration with LCMA and an NGO took an initiative to clean Dal Lake in Srinagar. Hundreds of Army Jawans, volunteers of the NGO, and J&K LCMA took part in the cleanliness drive. The motive of this event was to keep the Lake clean in order to attract tourists to the valley. The J&K LCMA, NGO, and the Indian Army will continue these types of cleanliness drives in future to increase tourism in J&K.
