New Zealand PM Chris Hipkins scheduled his PNG visit to meet PM Modi despite Biden’s absence

In a warm and special gesture towards India, New Zealand PM Chris Hipkins flew to Papua New Guinea especially to meet PM Modi. As per ANI sources, speculations of Kiwi PM Chris Hipkins canceling his PNG trip following the cancellation of US Prez Biden's trip. However, Kiwi Chief Hipkins made sure to visit Papua New Guinea confirming his bilateral talks with PM Modi. Prime Minister Modi met Kiwi PM and held talks on various subjects including trade and commerce, education, and many more. President Joe Biden canceled his visits to Papua New Guinea and Australia amid the ongoing debt ceiling negotiations in Washington. Meanwhile, PM Modi’s global ‘popularity’ continues to outshine other prominent leaders. PM Modi reached Papua New Guinea on May 21 where PM James Marape touched PM Modi's feet and sought his blessings. PM Modi co-chaired the 3rd India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit.
