“Will file defamatory case…”: Assam CM on Rahul Gandhi’s Adani tweet

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to face another defamation case as Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dubbed his Adani tweet as “defamatory”. Assam CM on April 09 in Guwahati said that a defamatory case will soon be up against the Congress leader after April 14, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave Assam. “Whatever Rahul Gandhi has tweeted is a defamatory tweet, once PM Modi goes back from Assam there will be a defamatory case filed against him after April 14. I am still waiting for the invitation from Arvind Kejriwal,” the CM said. Rahul recently tweeted and dropped a few names of some leaders along with the Adani issue. The tweet immediately triggered another political slugfest.
