PM Modi lauds Uganda’s solar-powered drinking water system, says it will boost friendship with India

S Jaishankar on April 11 participated in virtual ceremony of solar-powered piped drinking water supply systems in Uganda. The project will provide safe, sustainable water to half a million Ugandans across 20 rural districts. PM Modi lauded the project and said that it will boost friendship with Uganda. The project is a joint venture of Govt of India, Exim Bank, Govt of Uganda.
