“Letter will reach CMO, SC after my death…” When Ashraf Ahmed predicted his killing

A day after, gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot, the case has took fresh turn. Days after the murder, a secret letter added a twist to the high-profile murder case of the brother duo. Days before the gruesome killing, Ashraf had accused a high-level UP police official of threatening to kill them after 2 weeks. He also said that he has written a letter which will be delivered to SC, Allahabad High Court and UP CM if he will be killed. Meanwhile, Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer confirmed Ashraf’s claim and said that he also informed him about the threat. According to Atiq’s advocate, he didn’t ‘reveal’ the name of the officer citing security reasons. Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead by men posing as journalists on April 15 in Prayagraj. The three accused have been identified as Sunny Singh, Lovelesh Tiwari and Arun Maurya. All three shooters have been shifted to barracks to the high-security cell of Naini (Prayagraj) Central Jail on April 17. All three shooters, Arun Maurya, Sunny Singh, and Lovelesh Tiwari were sent to 14-day judicial custody on April 16.
