“A special day…” PM Modi’s memorable visit to the Bandipur and Mudumalai Tiger Reserves

Spending his day out in the wild, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka’s Chamarajanagar. Paying a visit to the homeland of the elephants from Oscar winning short documentary film The Elephant Whisperers, the PM also took a tour of the Theppakadu Elephant Camp in Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai. Not only that, but the PM also met Bomman and Belli, the people on whom ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ is based. Adding it to his list of many surreal experiences, the PM enthusiastically measured the roads of the parks as he spotted some of the most beautiful animals. Trying his hand at wildlife photography, he was also seen clicking some pictures during his trip.
