On Intl Women’s Day, a shocking incident took place in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. Police resort to lathi-charge on women and transgender during the ‘Aurat March’ rally. A violent fight erupted outside the Press Club during which the police lathi-charged the attendees. Interestingly, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister was debating at UN on “Women and peace and security”.
