Indian Army Medical team set to return to India from quake-hit Türkiye

Indian Army Medical Facility at Iskenderun, Hatay, concluded its services amid gratitude, applause from locals. The team of 60 Para Field Hospital set to return to India on Feb 20 after their selfless service in earthquake-hit Türkiye. India launched 'Operation Dost' to extend assistance to Türkiye as well as Syria. India sent relief materials as well as medical and rescue teams to Türkiye after the quake. Earlier, the final NDRF team under ‘Operation Dost’ returned to India from Türkiye after the completion of rescue operations. Teams executed search, rescue and relief operations at 35 sites of Nurdağı, Antakya. India had sent 7 aircraft with specialised teams to Türkiye under ‘Operation Dost’.
