Republic Day 2023: VVIP seats reserved for Central Vista Workers and street vendors

In an unprecedented move, this year VVIP seats are reserved for the Central Vista Workers and street vendors. The theme of India's 74th Republic Day has been chosen to be "participation of the common people". Sticking to its theme, R-Day 2023 parade will witness the attendance of common people from all walks of the society. Earlier, in September 2022, PM Modi interacted with workers who were involved in the redevelopment project. Notably, Republic Day 2023 celebrations will be the first after the inauguration of the revamped Central Vista.
