Pak PM’s head hung in shame over ‘begging’; calls it ‘Shameful for nuclear power to beg’ amid crisis

Embarrassment took over Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif amid country’s critically hit economy. With last year’s flood and amid the recent flour crisis in the country, Pakistan is witnessing one of the worst economic crisis in years. With their foreign exchange reserves left next to none, the country is compelled to ask for loans from friendly countries, which anyways has bored no fruit so far. Expressing his embarrassment over the country’s financial situation, Pakistan PM called it ‘shameful for nuclear power to beg’, reported The News International. The remark was made while the Pak PM was addressing the passing-out ceremony of probationary officers of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). The PM called all the ‘begging’ the wrong way to tackle the current situation as he stated that the loans will have to be ‘repaid’.
