Proud moment for Indian athletics: PT Usha after being nominated to Rajya Sabha

Salem (Tamil Nadu): After being nominated to Rajya Sabha Former Indian Athlete PT Usha expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that it is a proud moment for Indian athletics. While talking to Media Persons PT Usha said, “I am very happy, it's a proud moment and an honour for Indian sports and particularly athletics. Prime Minister is very close to sportspersons, he always wishes luck to players before and after any event. It's a motivation for all of us,” she added.
