Upper age limit in Agnipath Recruitment Scheme relaxed to 23 years: Rajnath Singh

Srinagar : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on June 17 clarified that the age limit for Agnipath Recruitment Scheme has been relaxed to 23 years as many youths did not get opportunity to get inducted into Armed forces due to no recruitment process.Speaking to ANI, Singh said, “For the last 2 years, young people didn't get the opportunity to get inducted into Armed forces due to no recruitment process. Thus the government decided to increase the upper age limit from 21 years to 23 years. It's a one-time relaxation.”
