Jama Masjid Shahi Imam condemns beheading incident, calls it an ‘Act of cowardice, non-Islamic’

New Delhi: A day after a tailor Kanhaiya Lal was brutally murdered by two persons in broad daylight in Udaipur, Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Maulana Syed Ahmed Bukhari on June 29 condemned the incident and called it an act of cowardice and non-Islamic, illegal, and inhuman. “Brutal murder in Udaipur has shaken humanity. It's not only an act of cowardice but also non-Islamic, illegal, and inhuman. On behalf of all Indian Muslims, I strongly condemn this,” he added.
