Padma Awardees express gratitude to PM Modi for national recognition

New Delhi: Sachidanand Swami, a writer from Gujarat, who received the Padma Bhushan award for his work in literature and education on March 22, conveyed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Modi for acknowledging him in his old age. Jagjit Singh Dardi, a veteran journalist with an experience of over 60 years in the field, expressed thanks to the PM for acknowledging the regional news media. First Gorkha-Nepali musician to receive Padma Shri, Kaajee Singh also thanked Narendra Modi and the media. All 64 Padma Awardees visited the National War Memorial in Delhi and paid their floral tribute.
