BJP renames school in Delhi after slain Kashmiri Pandit leader Tika Lal Taploo

New Delhi: The BJP governed North Delhi Municipal Corporation renamed a school in Rohini, after the late Kashmiri Pandit leader Tika Lal Taploo, who was brutally murdered in the valley back in broad daylight in 1989.“Today, a school has been named after Tika Lal Taploo. He was honourable for us not only because he was a BJP President but also because he was a symbol of Kashmir's culture,” said Union Minister Jitendra Singh on March 27.Notably, Tika Lal Taploo was a beloved Kashmiri Pandit who was murdered on September 14, 1989. He was well known for his devotion to the Nation and his community.
